Get Set and Match!

Leading up to the first week of July, South Australians witnessed the launch of Blind Tennis through a pilot program that stretched over 8 weeks. It started as a project between EYE PLAY SPORT and Rick Shrowder from Global Community Sports. The program was developed over months and delivered with hands on support from Blind Sports Australia and Tennis SA. Launched at the South Australian School for Vision Impaired (SASVI), the program was delivered to 20 students. We would like to believe it changed the lives of not just the 20 students but each and everyone involved in the program. The program would not have been possible without the support of our sponsor Home Start Finance. Read more

Sunday Mail City to Bay Fun Run 2015

The City Bay Fun Run is as much a challenge for charities as it is for the runners and walkers who attempt the 12 kilometre course. Our City to Bay was made much easier this year thanks to Victor from Refined Real Estate, who kindly let EYE PLAY SPORT use his business headquarters on Anzac Highway during the event. It was a hive of activity as over 40,000 competitors, some doing it easy, others doing it tough, made their way past Refined Real Estate’s front door.  We helped Victor and his team hand out thousands of ice-blocks and balloons.
